The PZI Workforce Development team had the privilege of facilitating a transformative 4-day High 5! Workshop at the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) Leadership Summit in Salt Lake City. WAPA’s leadership dove deep into personal and organizational growth, guided by principles aimed at fostering self-awareness and enhancing leadership effectiveness.
Effective communication lies at the heart of impactful leadership. During the workshop, leaders honed their ability to listen actively and speak with purpose. These skills are crucial not only for fostering trust and collaboration within teams but also for ensuring that organizational goals are communicated clearly and effectively. By better understanding their teams’ dynamics and communication styles, WAPA leaders are now better equipped to navigate challenges and drive meaningful outcomes.
Equipped with practical tools and strategies, WAPA leaders left the summit empowered to “Serve Like the Lights Depend on It!” This phrase encapsulates the commitment to leadership excellence that was cultivated throughout the workshop. From mastering the art of impactful communication to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, each leader now possesses the tools necessary to drive positive change within their teams and across the organization.
It was an incredible opportunity to attend the WAPA Leadership Summit with the PZI Workforce Development Team. Witnessing the dedication of WAPA’s leaders to their own growth and the growth of their organization was inspiring. The exchange of ideas, the camaraderie built, and the commitment to leadership excellence were evident throughout the summit. This Leadership Summit reinforced the importance of investing in leadership development and provided a platform for leaders to learn, grow, and inspire others within their organization. As facilitators, we are honored to have been part of this transformative experience and look forward to seeing the continued impact of empowered leadership at WAPA.
Keep serving like the lights depend on it, WAPA!
