What’s Your Leadership Influence Score?

Does your success in Leadership come from your title or your influence?

I learned this lesson firsthand during my early years as a military spouse. While my spouse had the title and authority, my leadership had to come from my ability to influence outcomes with my attitude. I carried this over into my professional life and honed those skills of influence through my attitude and engagement.

Later in my corporate career, as titles became “more important,” it was easy to lose sight of the power of influence and allow my attitude to change, not for the good.

When building a thriving enterprise like PZI Group, things hit me fast in all directions—and I had to start from the ground up in building the enterprise.  My skills of influence and my attitude toward others, those who worked for, with, and alongside me, would become the most important skills.  That’s why I took a hard look at my attitude and influence plan to give me a faith-centered framework to confidently assess options and make changes in my influencing and attitude decisions aligned with our mission of supporting people on a global scale.

That same attitude and influence plan can transform your impact at work, too. This quick 10-question assessment will help you evaluate your current approach.
